Cystectomy (removal of cysts)
Cystectomy is the removal of the cysts from the jawbone. If necessary, the damaged part of the bone is filled with bone replacement. A cyst can be located anywhere in the jaw but most frequently above the root of the tooth. It tends to grow and that can lead to new problems: it can move teeth or lead to the fracture of the jaw bone.
